a juxtaposition, silence and music,

  1. That’s how I feel about walking – you stated it so simply. I bought a bicycle a year ago, hoping to start something new that way, forgetting that I didn’t like riding my old bike when we moved here to suburbia long ago. Why did I think I would like it any better now that I’m older? I had one wild ride around town and now the bike sits, while I walk, getting my outdoor exercise while staying “grounded.”

I’ve been browsing around your site and enjoy your quotes, poems, and photos very much.

    • I used to run before up to ultra-marathons. Then developed plantar fasciitis, recovered and decided I will do walking as my primary form of maintenance health habit, to keep in shape.
      Thank you for stopping by.
