The trees color my morning
My morning walk expands my day
Mixing two colors brings a third
Juxtaposition of two words or phrases
Brings a fresh thought
A ladder standing next to an empty garden
Or goats knocking on my door
A glass of scotch or a glass wine
How do you start
To add meaning to your day?
What’s the meaning of starting your day?
note: Lately I have been walking almost everyday. On Monday I did one of my long walks. There are are a lot to see outdoors.
note: Yesterday Mrs. Abstract and I took one of our grandchildren to California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco.
The sea
shortening grip of light
my mind, a paint brush
note: on my walk to the river.
driving home from church
with memory of wind and rain
delicacies of autumn
The little things
simple pleasures of ordinary things
peanut butter, Beethoven’s late quartets
moments as moments evolve
concepts not possessions
can make one happy
sweet moments of vibrant greens
cobalt blues, trees, giant
and slender, of Woldgate Woods,
sanctuary of affection
David Hockney painted,
drew “en plein air” changing seasons
“nicely phrased” on iPad videos, paintings
evolving slowly before my eyes
3 days before the exhibit closed
the little things, important little things
I love you, hug me tight.
