I’m a seed
depends where it falls
tendril shoots toward the sun
a vast field
for a random seed
or accidental fruit
joining photosynthesis
connect to what life is
simple and profound
like “two o-musubi
neatly side by side
inside my lunchbox”
o, what I can be.
note: O-nigiri also known as o-musubi-or rice ball, is a Japanese food made from white rice formed into triangular or oval shapes and often wrapped in nori (seaweed).
